I started this blog back when D&D 4e first came out. Not everyone's favorite, I know, but it really inspired me. I wanted to have a creative space to share ideas with my players, local game shop friends, and the rest of the community. Ideamancer became that space for me. I even participated in the RPG Blogger Network back in the early '00's.
We moved to Seattle right around the time that D&D's 5th edition came out. Updates to the blog have gotten a bit more sporadic since then. Partly because of life stuff, but also because I've been digging deep into all kinds of Spelljammer lore. A lot of my recent work has been focused around adapting Spelljammer mechanics and items for 5e. Some of them you'll find on the blog, but I also have a few up on DM's Guild.
TTRPG world design and mechanics continue to be a huge passion of mine. Thank you for letting me share that passion with you. I hope you find something here that inspires you to do some Ideamancy of your own.
